Climate finance is a financial solution to cope with climate change and develop a low-carbon economy, which is a very important trend in the development of the modern financial industry. The author conducts an analysis of climate finance based on the relevant literature. Specifically, on the basis of summarizing the impact path of climate change risks on the financial system and sorting out the measures taken by major economies at home and abroad to cope with climate change risks, this paper analyzes and studies the shortcomings of China’s financial system in coping with climate change and puts forward policy suggestions for strengthening top-level design and overall coordination, attaching importance to climate risk management, strengthening incentives and constraints, and further increasing international cooperation.
