Contemporarily, the marriage of artificial computer intelligence and the financial stock market has gained increasing interest in recent years. In recent years, forecasting stock prices has also been a more prevalent topic of conversation. Investors lack a coherent knowledge of the model mechanism and prediction results behind stock price forecasts. Hence, this paper will examine Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon, the three largest technology businesses. We will focus on banks' personal lending business, including housing, student, and personal consumption loans. We will analyze the personal loan business of Chinese and U.S. banks separately and compare the personal loan business of both banks. The United States has a complete system with guarantor agencies that China does not have. This paper is targeted at the policies and adjustments of the United States against the nuclear program of Iran during the administration of Donald Trump and Joe Biden and attempts to analyze the reasons and motivations. After the Trump administration took office, the United States unilaterally withdrew from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and implemented an all-round suppression of Iran. On the contrary, President Biden has shown a strong willingness to rejoin the deal and released goodwill to Iran frequently. Biden’s policy seems to be significantly different from that of Trump, but it does not deviate from the framework of the Trump administration. This paper explores the foreign policies of the two governments towards Iran through three levels of analysis and uses cognitive psychology to analyze the influence of Trump's personal factors on his policies. It concludes that Trump's policies on Iran nuclear issue during his administration are mainly affected by his political personality and national security environment, while Biden's strategic adjustment to the foreign policy is more influenced by political pressure at home and abroad besides national security.
Europe is increasingly dependent on Russian natural gas imports. As Ukraine is the main transit country for gas trade between the two sides, the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which started in 2014 and has not stopped yet, has led to Europe's gas trade with Russia receiving an impact. Due to the importance of natural gas and the fact that this war was the largest in Europe since World War II, the trade relations between the European and Russian natural gas markets before and after the Russo-Ukrainian war and the diversification of natural gas in Europe have been studied by many scholars. This paper uses a review to summarize and sort out the relevant literature based on game theory to study the gas market trade relations in Europe before and after the Russo-Ukrainian War. According to these scholars, the trade relations between Russia and Europe in the gas market will continue to cooperate despite the impact of the Russo-Ukrainian war. The interruption of gas exports to Ukraine and the construction of pipelines bypassing Ukraine are acceptable to Russia and Europe. Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Iraq, along with the United States, should actively invest in expanding their gas export capacity to have the opportunity to serve as an alternative to Russian gas and make Europe less dependent on Russian gas imports. This paper provides an understanding of the implications of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict for the world in terms of gas trade. This paper provides a reference for related studies, and to understand the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict on the world from the perspective of the gas trade.

This paper aims to analyze the return of the investment portfolio based on the judgment of the current market, combining the characteristics of the strategy and the situation of the applicable industry. At present, many research papers have an aperture in understanding and practical application of the above topics, because they have not been comprehensively presented from multiple perspectives such as market and industry conditions and strategic characteristics. Momentum strategy, market neutral strategy and PEG ratio are selected here, combined with representative stocks in the consumer industry, energy industry, Internet and real estate for portfolio construction. By selecting the S&P 500 as a benchmark, it is compared with the historical price trend of individual stocks and the performance of the issuing company. While individual stock prices fluctuate significantly more than the benchmark, it is still possible to judge from the price action which strategy is more suitable. Based on the above analysis, it can be intuitively seen that momentum strategies and market neutral strategies are more suitable for the moment. It has reference value for strategy selection and construction in volatile markets. The analysis of the PEG ratio is relatively simple, and the ratio is only used as the adjustment and correction of the price-earnings ratio, and there are still many defects.

After studying how virus spread, people find that wearing masks can effectively reduce the probability of infection. However, there are still number of people struggling whether to wear masks or not. In the current paper, based on the probability of infection we construct two matrix models, one for standard players and one for players who have been recovered form Covid-19, to analysis the expected payoff of to being a mask wearer or non-mask wearer. Comparing the expected payoff as number of people increasing in the model, we find a critical point that people are indifferent of wearing masks and not wearing masks and name it as indifferent ratio. According to the results of the model and corresponding analysis, governments are suggested to enforce policies such as wearing masks in public and enable certain social distance. For people who have been recovered from Covid-19, they can choose not to masks in places where few people around them.

Third, having a wide variety of products presents challenges for marketing. Finally, the instability brought on by a change in leadership. This study offers a number of recommendations for Disney to better manage future worldwide development on the basis of these findings.
With the global economy increasingly relying on electronic transactions, more and more companies are suffering from network attacks, which have a certain impact on the future development of their enterprises. I use the information of cyber attacks suffered by Listed Companies in the United States from 2005 to 2019 to analyze whether the cyber attacks will have a short-term impact on the stock prices of the companies under attack, and whether effective information disclosure can help the companies to stop the loss effectively to a certain extent. I find that effective information disclosure can help enterprises reduce the negative impact to a certain extent, and when the relevant information reaches a higher degree of openness and transparency, it can help enterprises go through the crisis more smoothly compared to the enterprises less so.
With the widening of gender differences in modern society, the unequal treatment of women has also gradually deepened. On average, femalea are less educated than males in most of the provinces in China. This paper analyzes the relationship between educational levels of males and females in different regions and the regional economic development by using the gross regional product per capita during the last five years and annual data of male and female population with a college degree and above, which is sampled by province, and discusses whether gender differences will affect the local economic development. Through the analysis of existing data, it can be concluded that regions with a higher degree of gender discrimination have a lower GDP, and the gender discrimination rate is negatively correlated with GDP. Finally, this research summarized possible explanations for this phenomenon from the aspects of education level, labor participation rate and so on. So, because of gender the average education level of women might be negatively affected by discrimination, thus affecting the quantity and quality of work undertaken by women in society. Similarly, labor participation rates can also be affected by discrimination against a particular sex, where discrimination against men in a particular area or industry prevents male from entering the factory and contributing to the labor force. These phenomena will definitely bring about an undervalued development potential for the industry or area.

The purpose of our study is to delve into how the Clean Water Act influenced the United States economy. We used some secondary research such as results from previous studies, textbooks, relevant news articles, published academic research papers, government legal documents, and statistical databases. By using this solid data which was published on the government legal documents, we can ensure the accuracy of this data. We found the results of the Clean Water Act (CWA) are controversial, and they are two-sided. However, The CWA now looks like a pretty successful act. In 1972 the United States administration enacted the CWA to restrict the discharge of pollutants into waters of the United States and regulation of surface water quality standards [12]. So our research question is how the Clean Water Act influenced the United States economy both beneficial and harmful. Previous studies have shown that the Clean Water Act actually has improved the economy drastically which we will talk about later. But there are some critics who examine the realistic aspect of the huge funds used to support this legislation which could be harmful to the economy.

The phenomenon of Asia-African relations has received considerable attention since the start of the 21st century. As China and Japan are two leading Asian donors of Africa, their foreign aid policies are worth analyzing and comparing. Among African countries, Ethiopia is located in the horn of Africa, whose strategic position is relatively significant. In addition, Ethiopia has not been colonized in the history, which makes this case more meaningful. Most of the previous studies have concentrated on either one specific aspect like economic or certain country’s foreign aid policies towards Ethiopia. This research aims to analyze and compare China’s and Japan’s multifaceted foreign aid policies towards Africa and Ethiopia in particular. For this purpose, the primary data and materials have been collected from the official websites, official reports, and previous studies. The result shows that their differences involve political, economic and societal aspects. On the contrary, China’s policies towards Ethiopia are more general, and the Chinese government has played a leading role in economic aiding than the Japanese government. In terms of the societal aspect, the Chinese government is more tending to cooperate with the Ethiopian government instead of the NGOs.

Agriculture index insurance is an innovative topic that has not been well studied in the United States. North Carolina produces 1.7 billion pounds of sweet potatoes in 2020, but currently, there is no insurance to reduce the financial risk of farmers. As a result, index insurance focusing on North Carolina sweet potato farmers can be profitable. In this study, the precipitation is forecasted by the linear model using the first lag and seasonal factors. The predicted precipitations from May to September are then used to predict the yield. The precipitation model has significant factors for Season3, which represents July to September, the rainy season of North Carolina; the yield model has a significant variable of September, which is the harvest season of sweet potatoes in North Carolina. The precipitation model falls short of predicting the exact value of precipitation, but it catches the trend and seasonality. Despite the insensitivity of the precipitation model, the yield is predicted relatively accurate. The result of this study can be used to design the thresholds of the index insurance. Insurance companies can use thresholds to design insurance plans with different premiums.

The emergence of economic modalities shapes different cultural societies by increasing platform economy in which consumers form different consumer behaviors between China and the United States. The previous study explained that U.S. consumers are resistant to online shopping due to privacy concerns. Previous research has studied the issue by interviewing U.S. consumers and by giving data for both China and U.S., and there are no possible solutions for this issue. Our study uses qualitative research to find databases between two countries and analyze consumer behavior differences. Our finding indicates that the unpopularity of the U.S. platform economy is because of the lack of a star economy, strong consumer rationality, and low level of vulnerability to the image. As opposed to previous assumptions, our study suggests adding diversified goods to the platform, offering appealing titles, and building convenient online consumption methods in order to make U.S. online shopping popular.

Following the founding and operation of a corporation, the biggest challenge it faces is the risk of bankruptcy, so how to prevent, controlling, and analyze the causes of bankruptcy is one of the most critical tasks for every company. As we all know, many factors affect corporate bankruptcy, and most studies are based on a unilateral or small range of factors set to study its impact on bankruptcy. Based on the data provided by Taiwan Economic Journal from 1999 to 2009, this paper adopts univariate and multivariate analysis models to analyze the data. A 3Comparative analysis, Normality test, T-test, non-parametric test, ANOVA test, Factor analysis and logistics were carried out using SPSS auxiliary tools Regression (Regression) controls relatively comprehensive factors that affect a company's bankruptcy from an overall perspective. It aims to demonstrate the selection of bankruptcy factors and analysis ideas. After analysis, we conclude that through the research and analysis, we have a new understanding of the causes of corporate bankruptcy. We find the four most important factors affecting corporate bankruptcy. Namely, ROAC before interest and depreciation before interest, Liability to Equity, Total assets to GNP price, and No credit interval, In addition, many single factors may have no impact on a company's bankruptcy. However, when they coexist with other factors, they will have a chain effect, resulting in even multiple amplification of the risk of bankruptcy. Therefore, different from the specific analysis of the impact of single factors on the bankruptcy of a company, this paper extracts the primary factors and takes the analysis of the relationship between individual factors as a specific example by showing the research perspective of innovation to propose the actual operation of a company from the macro and micro aspects, that is, to clarify which departments and decisions to pay special attention to in daily operation.

This article analyzes labor market problems through the lens of behavioral economics. This article seeks to identitys methods in which behavioral economics can provide policy recommendations for addressing issues related to unemployment and employment. While traditional economics fails to explain how unemployment insurance discourages job search and leads to long-term unemployment, behavioral economics finds that cognitive biases like loss aversion and present bias prolong unemployment. It suggests that policies must be designed by considering these cognitive biases to increase the motivation of the unemployed to accept work. One policy that can supplement unemployment insurance is wage-loss insurance. Wage-loss insurance is a short or long-term monetary subsidy when the wages in the new job are lower than in the old job. This paper uses qualitative analysis and a literature review to gather insights into labor market problems and the role of behavioral economics in addressing them.

As the epidemic gradually receded, we ushered in the post-epidemic era, an opportunity for the development of many catering industries and a challenge for catering enterprises to change themselves. The origin of the problems in the development of the Haidilao enter-prise is internal management and control. This paper will study the internal organizational command and control issues and corresponding strategies of Haidilao enterprises in the post-epidemic era, hoping enterprises can seize the opportunity and return to life.
The choice of a reasonable and scientific sampling method and the implementation of efficient quality control tests can help companies achieve economic and social benefits. In this paper, probability theory and statistics are applied to provide a basis for enterprises to consider the choice of sampling with and without replacement through case studies and modeling. These two sampling methods lead to binomial and hypergeometric distributions of probabilities, respectively. The differences between them are found to be negligible in the case of large population size by calculations at N→∞. Based on comparison of sampling methods, this paper further divides the manufacturing industry into the chemical industry, which is sensitive to the reliability of quality control test, and other manufacturing industries, which are more sensitive to cost while controlling quality. In the end, suggestions are proposed for improving quality control tests for the category industries respectively.

Co-branding has become a vital strategy in the fashion marketing industry. The strategy involves collaborating with other brands to jointly innovate new products. This paper looks at the positive and negative aspects of co-branding. Taking the co-branding initiatives by Gucci as a case study, this paper makes the following findings. Co-branding helps brands to grow as long as both the two collaborating brands have unique strengths that make them better together. Such strengths may include market reach, brand awareness and reputation, and technical know-how. However, co-branding may produce unintended negative consequences when one brand suffers a negative brand image, which ends up getting transferred to the co-branding partner. Furthermore, either of the collaborating brands may lose its original brand image due to the influence of the partner brand. In the case of Gucci, it is found that the co-branding initiatives have resulted in mutual benefits for Gucci and its partners, but the strategy should not be extended for a long duration, as this is a risk factor for brand dilution.

The contradiction between energy supply and demand, environmental protection, and economic development is becoming more and more obvious. How to coordinate and balance the relations between energy, environment, and economy has become a common concern of scholars. In this context, the Energy-Environment-Economy (3E) system is gradually maturing, and up to now, the 3E system has been widely used in the evaluation of the development of various regions. In order to make the 3E system closer to the real social situation in the application, the measured results have more practical significance. Based on the new human capital theory, this paper summarizes and analyzes the relevant research literature, and discusses the influence of population on the three subsystems of energy, economy, and environment in the 3E system. It is found that population has an impact on each subsystem, among which it is worth noting that the impact of population on the environmental subsystem is diverse and complex, so the current situation of the 3E system is different from the theory. The article examines the impact of population on the 3E system in order to optimize and complement the 3E system.

Since the birth of ecological modernization theory in 1982, the problem of enterprise benefit and environmental protection has entered the field of view of academia and industry. Ecological modernization theory discusses the influence of government policy intervention (subsidy or penalty) on enterprise green innovation and then explains the possibility of enterprise revenue and enterprise green coexistence. Firstly, this paper gives a simple explanation of the theory of ecological modernization and then establishes several simple duopoly game models through multiple hypotheses. Moreover, through comparative static analysis, it discusses the influence of government policies on enterprise carbon emissions and the influence of enterprise carbon emission decisions on enterprise green efficiency. The analysis shows that the government’s policy intervention can effectively reduce the carbon emissions of enterprises. Meanwhile, in the same market, a number of carbon emission enterprises will reduce their own carbon emission levels according to the carbon emission situation of oligopolies with carbon emission initiatives.
The range breakout strategy is a momentum strategy that involves taking a long position in a security when its price exceeds a predetermined range and a short position when the price falls below the range. Previous research has indicated that this strategy is well-suited to the price volatility patterns observed in commodity markets. Considering the significant expansion and di-versification of China's commodity market in recent years, we decided to apply the range breakout strategy to China's commodity futures market and assess its feasibility and profitability. Our research utilized historical performance data from the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange and Shanghai Future Exchange between September 1, 2012, and July 31, 2022, obtained from CSMR as our database. We focused on the top 27 most liquid commodity futures categories to construct our back-testing portfolio. Our approach centered around using volatility as the basis for entry signals in the range breakout strategy and signal weighting as a portfolio construction method. The results demonstrate that the range breakout strategy, based on volatility, is highly effective in China's commodity futures market. This research con-tributes to the enrichment of optimization strategies in China's Future Market. Furthermore, we explored the use of cross-commodity hedging and the Average True Range (ATR) indicator to further enhance the strategy. Although no practical improvements were discovered beyond the original strategy, this exploration offers valuable insights for future research.
The mobile phone market is always changing. In recent years, fashionable and cheap mobile phones like OPPO have become consumers' preferences, and their market share is also expanding. This research will make predictions about the development of OPPO in the next five to ten years. To make the forecasts reliable and convincing, the SWOT model and data from "Counterpoint" and "The Economic Times" are used. Generally, the international mobile phone market is slowly recovering, but the shortage of hardware components for Chinese brands, such as OPPO and VIVO, and the crisis between Ukraine and Russia made the expected fast recovery fail. For OPPO, its expansion is restricted by China's policy of COVID-19 and it faces serious shortages on making some core hardware components, hence in the future 5 years, OPPO is not expected to occupy much market share. However, in a future decade, it is hard to say. Although the influence of China's COVID policy restriction and the Ukrainian War is expected to disappear, the key restriction for OPPO is the limitation on components. OPPO should develop some core components independently to reduce the impact of the external supply market on the company's expansion. In addition, OPPO pays more attention to offline sales, and its sales have been greatly affected during the COVID-19 period. In the future, OPPO can expand online and other channels and can flexibly switch if similar emergencies happen in the future.
The government may use tax incentives to attract companies to register in an economically unbalanced region to boost the local economy and create an economic profit zone. Regional tax incentives can reduce costs and increase profitability, thus creating an economic profit zone. The study concludes that the significance of regional tax incentives in creating economic profit zones lies in balancing and regulating the regional imbalance of development from within the country itself.
In the era of global economic integration, economy and science and technology have in-creasingly become the decisive factors of international competition, and among them, enter-prises have increasingly become the main body of competition. Therefore, in recent years, major enterprises have increasingly improved the core competitiveness of their enterprises, and the research on human resources has become more and more in-depth. To maximize the benefits, in recent years, companies around the world have gradually realized the im-portance of high-level talent to their company's capabilities. However, due to various prob-lems, such as information asymmetry caused by adverse selection, it is increasingly difficult for companies to select real talents to contribute more to themselves. Through the estab-lishment of the game theory model, this paper discusses the benefits and losses for employ-ers and applicants and finds the best employment recruitment scheme. The research results show that the information asymmetry in the recruitment process will greatly reduce the effi-ciency of enterprises to find talents, and cause losses to both recruiters, so this paper puts forward relevant suggestions for the problem of information asymmetry to make up for the information asymmetry of the double-reverse, to promote the absorption of outstanding tal-ents by enterprises and drive the development of enterprises and economic recovery.
This paper examines the impact of public resource allocation on housing prices and uses Chengdu as an example for analysis. By comparing education, healthcare, and transportation in each district of Chengdu, the study finds that public resource allocation and housing prices in Chengdu are positively correlated and that education and healthcare resources are more strongly correlated with property prices. Both public resources and property prices in Chengdu show a general trend of "circle + radial" diffusion, decreasing from the first to the third circle. After comparing the public resources and property prices in each district, it is clear that there is still a large gap between districts. This paper argues that the government should increase the construction of public resources and optimize talent policies in the surrounding areas in order to alleviate the disparity between districts, disperse the pressure on public resources in each district in the first circle, and promote coordinated urban development.
The idea of a new transportation paradigm consisting of shared, multi-passenger vehicles has emerged along with the introduction of partly autonomous automobiles. As such a transformative but untested idea, the amount of existing research regarding this topic is limited. However, there are certainly discussions focused on individual elements of this topic and testing on a small scale: Driverless cars, shared vehicles, multi-passenger travel, etc. From these scattered papers, our team was able to compile the main problems with the current transportation paradigm and the potential benefits of the new sharing paradigm that we are advocating for. In this paper, we addressed four problems with the current paradigm and devised solutions for each problem via the benefits of the new sharing paradigm. Although we were unable to collect tentative data due to technological limitations, we gathered any research we could to simulate a world where the sharing transportation paradigm is adopted at a large scale, demonstrating the efficacy of the new paradigm in solving current pressing issues with a concentration on improving the environment both in cities and in general.

The "demographic dividend" has brought abundant labor resources and low labor costs to our country. However, the official data released by the National Bureau of Statistics in 2021 shows that China's total fertility rate is 1.3. With the obvious trend, this endowment advantage will no longer exist. It is of great significance in contemporary China to calculate the cost of family fertility that leads to low fertility willingness, and to formulate policies to increase the fertility rate. Therefore, the paper builds a model to calculate the cost of family fertility in China through the equivalence scale theory, and calculates that the equivalence scale level of the family fertility cost in China is 1.41, which is a relatively high level in the world. On this basis, the paper analyzes the reasons for the high cost of fertility, and summarizes the shortcomings of the paper's research, therefore putting forward suggestions for future research.
In this paper, we use Vasicek model to determine the pricing of corporate bonds under the risk-free interest rate, and adjust it through the credit spread to make it suitable for the pricing of corporate bonds with default risk. Furthermore, this paper tests the bond pricing model based on the bond data of three companies, and the results show that the model can well capture the bond price trend, but it is difficult to accurately capture the price fluctuation.
Owing to volatility in stock markets, it is quite elusive to forecast stock prices. Albeit, sometimes regular patterns are manifested in stock prices and a variety of factors are proved to be competent to determine stock prices partly. Hence, using stepwise regression on historical stock price data, this paper proposes determining similar patterns in stock prices and exploring potential rules to select the main factors that can affect stock prices significantly while taking all factors into account. Difference analysis is also employed to probe possible correlations in the data. Eventually, this paper tries to improve stock price prediction using factor analysis and manages to achieve higher accuracy.
In recent years, with the continuous development of the Internet, people have received more information among them. The market for domestic cosmetics is becoming larger and larger in this era, even setting off a "national tide fever," and its competition is also very fierce. Also, it enhances the brand awareness and recognition of its own brand.
We identified five factors influencing the stock price of Tencent Music at various times in the paper. We used two mathematical techniques by collecting data on these five variables. By calculating the correlation coefficients, we were able to determine the influence of each variable on Tencent Music over different periods. Using the Linest equation in Google Sheets, we then developed a Linear regression model for Tencent Music. We used the regression model to calculate the slope, y-interpret, and predict the quarterly stock price to compare with the actual quarterly stock price. By analyzing Tencent Music's stock, we conclude the article with our perspective on the entire Chinese streaming media industry.

A well-developed and well-executed marketing strategy is important for a company, especially for Adidas in the highly competitive sporting goods industry. Therefore, this essay analyzes Adidas’ marketing strategy with the help of the 4Ps marketing theory and proposes relevant strategy optimisation. The result shows that Adidas’ current marketing strategy focuses on incorporating sustainability to drive product innovation. This marketing strategy is beneficial in helping the company to engage consumers and build a credible brand image. However, this marketing strategy also faces problems with product innovation lacking competitiveness, product quality and pricing. Therefore, Adidas could optimise both its product strategy and its pricing strategy. Specifically, Adidas could focus on product innovation, drive digital transformation and increase its control over suppliers in order to expand its product strength and optimise its product strategy. At the same time, Adidas could optimise its pricing strategy by increasing its sensitivity to changes in competitors’ prices, consumers and market demand.
Wine reviewers and the general public usually determine the quality of the wine. There is a great deal of subjec-tivity in such reviews and differences in the reviewers' preferences, making it difficult for the winery to obtain favorable information. This paper will use Excel to build a related model of chemical substances in wine and wine quality. Both linear and logistic regression is used in this article to predict wine quality. In addition, differ-ent from past literature that indicates the quality of red wine based on chemical substances, this paper creatively constructs a profit model based on predicting wine quality. It thus helps wine sellers to make model selections. All these can help producers understand how to make good wine and get higher profits.
For a long time, both nationally and internationally, RMB hedging has been a contentious issue. The study and analysis of triangle and quadrilateral hedging in 30 countries are the focus of this article. In addition, they are classified into three groups: industrialized nations, developing countries, and backward countries, with the 30 countries that were chosen falling into each category. On the other hand, triangular arbitrage is an arbitrage that benefits from cross-exchange rate price movements. In contrast, quadrilateral arbitrage follows in the footsteps of those above but involves going via two more countries. Moreover, the data analysis for triangular and quadrangle arbitrage uses the total average, average, maximum, and minimum of favorable spreads, per the study below. From all of this, it could be seen that square hedging frequently has a broader spread or more losses, while triangular hedging frequently has a narrower spread.
Project Portfolio Management (PPM) is a subsidiary of project management. It is used to control and coordinate the projects in various organizations' portfolios with clear objectives of maximizing the project results, balancing portfolio threats, and aligning the projects to meet the business's strategic aims. In many organizations, PPM is ranked on a higher level than the project management concept because the goal of PPM is to achieve the strategic objectives of an organization. However, risks typically arise during project implementation and management. The project managers constantly work to minimize the project risks while simultaneously maximizing the intended values of a given project. The project management teams should manage the risks while achieving the strategic goals and objectives of an organization. This paper discusses the relationship between PPM and risk management during the project implementation process. The paper explored the use of a systematic literature review to come up with these critical findings. The author recommends that there's a need to use empirical data to validate the existing theories and published literature findings. The project Portfolio Risk Management (PPRM) has practical and theoretical approaches in risk management (RM), decision theory, and modern portfolio theory. The use of a systematic literature review approach was used in the execution of this study to gain more insights into the influence of risks on project portfolio and success, identification of the project portfolio risks, and the management of risks in the project portfolio management context.

From the beginning of globalization, the world was bound together, and became more and more inseparable. There was a great amount of differences around the world before globalization started, while globalization eliminated it. Although experience rises and falls, overall, both the political aspect and technological aspect keep developing, which drives the global market to become more efficient. Simultaneously, people in academia started focusing on inequality as a problem. Especially for economic inequality, including the visual gap of rich and poor and the difference of opportunity costs for different social classes, are greatly affected by globalization. However, how do the effects work and how to value the effects is the popular question without consensus. The minority, whether they think it’s a good thing or not, acknowledge that globalization reduced the social inequality among the countries but exacerbated inequality within the countries. This paper focuses on the complicated relationship between globalization and inequality by comparing and contrasting recent studies and ideologies in this area. The core problem within globalization appears to be the existence of the gap between political globalization and economic globalization. As economic globalization keeps integrating all of the countries around the world, the political globalization process is still suffocated by the national boundary lines in every country.

When the Chinese economy stopped amid the coronavirus pandemic, more than 6 million food delivery workers helped to distribute medicine, daily supplies, and meals becoming the crucial link between individual households and society. In light of the positive media attention and the heightened importance of food delivery workers, the researc her wondered if their living standards have actually been improved during COVID-19. Surveying 227 workers and interviewing 11 workers, the author conducted research on the impact of the pandemic on their compensation, ratings, social status and customer respect. After analyzing both the interview and survey data. This study found that although workers experienced a moderate improvement in their ratings, social status and customer respect, they also suffered a drastic income loss during the pandemic. Furthermore, this research found that the reasons behind those changes were mainly temporary and unique features of the pandemic. As the pandemic failed to make lasting systemic improvements in Chinese food delivery workers’ living standards, further research is needed to address their daily challenges.
The empirical results show that the rise of economic policy uncertainty (EPU) makes the level of financial innovation at banks significantly improve; that is, there is an incentive effect of EPU on financial innovation at banks. In addition, the degree of incentive-induced EPU for different types of banks is significantly different. Compared with listed banks, this incentive effect is more significant for non-listed banks; rural commercial banks are the most significant incentive, followed by urban commercial banks, and state-owned banks and joint-stock commercial banks are more robust. This shows that EPU has a “selective effect” on bank financial innovation. Moreover, the incentive effect of EPU on financial innovation activities is affected by the return on assets and the asset liquidity ratio of commercial banks, which further validates the “selective effect” of financial policy uncertainty on bank financial innovation.
Supply chain management is one of the main challenges in the development of the retail industry. As an important form of retail trade, supermarkets have attracted the attention of the whole retail industry. At present, large, medium, and small supermarkets are facing complete market competition, and each supermarket enterprise has more or less problems in its own supply chain relationship. The problem of how to solve the problems of various types of supermarket enterprises, improve their management programs, and win the market has become particularly important. Based on the existing literature and statistical data, this paper analyzes the problems existing in the supermarket retail industry in China, focusing on the deficiencies of the current supply chain and how to manage and optimize the supply chain. The result shows that the supply chain in domestic supermarkets still has a long way to improve. There are mainly five types of problems, which are supplier problems; delivery problems; location problems; display problems; and pricing problems. These kinds of problems might cause the loss of customer loyalty. The solution consists of three parts: diversifying the product supplier to ensure that the popular product never runs out; replacing the product’s shelf so that the customer can grab the popular product at first sight; and replacing the product’s shelf so that the customer can grab the popular product at first sight. Finally, be precise with the product’s pricing strategy; stress the price of the popular products and increase the profit for the unpopular ones.
Small and medium-sized enterprises are playing an important role in Chinese economic development. However, due to the lag in system construction, the scale of small and medium-sized enterprises is relatively small; many of these enterprises lack funds, and it is difficult to get loans. The financing difficulty of small and medium-sized enterprises always exists in China, which has become an important reason restricting their further development. In the past, smes used to borrow money from banks to finance their development. They have been borrowing from banks with their assets as collateral, but as the country has adopted a tight monetary policy, most of the loans applied for by smes have been rejected by banks. Private equity fund has the characteristics of low financing threshold and high added value of enterprises, helping many small and medium-sized enterprises to solve the capital problem, enabling them to develop and grow. In the process of private equity fund financing, the macro environment and micro factors bring huge risks to the whole financing process. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate, analyze and control every risk that may cause financing failure in the financing process. This paper uses the method of literature review, qualitative and quantitative combination, through the construction of small and medium-sized enterprise private equity fund investment risk evaluation index system, from the micro and macro environment to evaluate and analyze the risk, for the analysis of small and medium-sized enterprises may face financing risk to provide effective avoidance measures.
As the wave of mergers and acquisitions spreads in China, incidents of hostile takeovers in the capital market are becoming more frequent. More Chinese companies are revising their articles of association and adding anti-hostile takeover clauses, including the Golden Parachute clause, to protect their interests. Most research on Golden Parachute has focused on the U.S. market, but China's capitalist market environment and corporate governance structure differ greatly from the U.S., and there are blank spaces in the value judgment of the Golden Parachute in American studies. When introducing it in China, legislative bodies and corporate rules should not copy blindly; rather, they should extract its essence while discarding the dross. This article summarizes current research literature on the Golden Parachute clause by Chinese and American academia, uses empirical research to analyze how the clause was applied in the Musk-Twitter acquisition case, and presents personal insights on how Chinese companies can write the Golden Parachute clause into their articles of association and localize it based on actual mergers and acquisitions scenarios. Efforts must be made at the institutional, legal, and ethical levels to address the challenges faced by the Golden Parachute clause in practice, thereby opening up greater possibilities for their application in China.
Venture capital investors focus on early-stage enterprises, the market participants have limited information about their prospects. Their investment decisions involve complicated factors and potentially the failures in the past can affect their future investment decisions. In this paper, within the context of venture capital investment, I examined the impact of the rate of IPO failures in one sector on future investment in the same sector. However, the direction of effect is ambiguous. The learning effect from past failure can be positive if the VC investors gain valuable experience from it. Alternatively, the learning effect can be negative as it reveals the VCs’ incapability to invest in that given sector. I exploit a data set from Preqin and a fixed-effect model to help me identify results that are consistent with a positive learning story. This finding contributes to our understanding of how VC investors make investment decisions and how financial market participants react to failures more broadly.
During the 2008 financial crisis, many investment and commercial banks were hit hard. The primary reasons that caused the financial crisis were the abuse of mortgage securitization and the housing bubble. In this paper, our group mainly focused on the potential issue of the mortgage securitization structure and the impact that the abuse of securitization caused. Our group analyzed the correlation between mortgage defaults through the OLS linear regression model. It showed an underestimation of the possibility of defaulting on securitization products (MBS, CDO, etc.). Furthermore, our group analyzed the expansion of this potential risk due to the raised housing bubble. After analyzing the potential risk, our group analyzed the impacts that the securitization caused in macro and micro views. First, our group analyzed vital factors that affect bank performance using the OLS linear regression model. Moreover, based on the change of these critical factors caused by the exposed potential risk from the securitization structure, our group analyzed the bank’s performance during the financial crisis. Second, our group analyzed the macro impacts before, during, and after the financial crisis due to the abuse of securitization. Overall, according to the potential risk in the securitization structure and the macro and micro impacts caused by the exposed potential risk, our group concluded that the abuse of securitization was the “curse” for the whole financial system at that time.
Since 2019, the outbreak of the epidemic has brought huge customer subscriptions to Netflix, and the stock price has also risen as a result. However, according to its Q1 2022 earnings report, Netflix experienced its first single-quarter loss of sub-scribers in a decade, with high numbers. Using the case analy-sis method, this paper takes the sharp decline in subscribers of Netflix in the latest quarter as the starting point, thinks about how to retain users, analyzes the three reasons for the decline in the number of Netflix users, gives solutions with Product and Promotion as the core, and finally plans new marketing ideas for the streaming media in the post-epidemic era. It pro-vides a marketing model that can be promoted for the industry to retain users, return to peak performance, and develop sus-tainably under the normal epidemic situation.
The deals in the dynamic media and entertainment industries have been paid great attention to in recent years. One of the most valuable things that companies competed for was customers’ attention. Hence deals were made to provide unparalleled technologies or content. The case studies adopted in this study are objective and specific. Because of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, China's economy and financial markets have been volatile in recent years. This necessitates using financial literacy by Chinese customers to handle their assets effectively and avoid losses. This essay aims to investigate the effect of various demographic parameters on the financial quality of Chinese consumers. The 2019 China Consumer Finance Survey questionnaire yielded 13,000 data points for this article. STATA was applied to screen twelve independent variables associated with financial quality, and a multiple linear regression model was utilized to determine the association between each variable. The findings revealed a strong relationship between age, gender, income, education level, the proportion of household members with sickness, consumer risk preference, rural domicile, family size, self-employment and house ownership with financial quality, except that there was no significant correlation between marital status and consumer financial quality. The results indicated a significant correlation between age, gender, income, education level, and the proportion of household members with illness. These findings imply that different demographic factors influence Chinese consumers' financial quality to varying degrees. As a result, each consumer makes different decisions about managing assets and avoiding risk.

Finally, social groups directly affect the popularity of smart home.
On 7 October 2022, the US government issued a revised policy regarding semiconductor technology export toward China. The 139 pages of rules stated the regulation on export of chips, more specifically, the advanced computer chips that could support AI algorithms. In fact, this is not the first time for US government banning export of high-end computer chips to China, but this one could be the most expensive export restriction within a decade. Chinese chip companies have long suffered from the banning from US government, the development of the whole industry is filled with twists and turns as well, but the thriving of Chinese chip market is still deeply related to the US economy's performance. This paper discovers the correlation between the performance of Chinese chip industry, which is revealed by the index level of chip industry within China's mainland stock market, and the US to RMB exchange rate, starting from 2016 to present. The paper applied ARMA-GARCH model to predict and analyze the data, studying how will US exchange rate affect the development of chip industry in China. It also predicts the development of Chinese chip industry and then makes suggestions for future development of the Chinese chip companies.
Product differentiation is a key component of market structure, according to the theory of industrial organization, and the degree to which enterprises control the market depends on how well they differentiate their products. In addition, the company generates enough uniqueness in the components making up the product entity or in the delivery of the prod-uct to distinguish it from competing goods of a similar nature and draw in customers, earning their preference and loyalty. This paper introduces the causes of product differen-tiation, analyzes its application in the market and the implementable strategies for enter-prises to achieve product differentiation, and uses some examples to illustrate that product differentiation is a highly visible marketing strategy, which should be widely promoted. At the same time, it also has certain limitations and instability. Products need to establish a variety of different advantages and long-term supply chain between enterprises, cannot blindly exaggerate the role of product differentiation. In the current market environment, the same product categories emerge in endlessly. Therefore, businesses must properly cre-ate differentiation in order to make their products stand out.
Mental health is essential to all of us. Research has shown that facial appearance can hold cues for symptoms of depression, and perceived mental health reflects actual mental health. However, little research shows the relationship between people's judgments of mental health conditions and facial appearances. Here we will discuss the relationship between mental health and facial appearance. We will collect photos of faces under different mental conditions and let observers rate their mental health scores. Moreover, we will also measure the observers' mental health condition to see whether people with mental illness can accurately judge faces under the same condition.
Customer churn is essential for telecom fields because it reduces income when a customer switches from one service provider to another. It is important for managers to help them find the factors influencing customer churn so that they can make decisions and optimize services. When people think of Hong Kong in the 1960s, most will recall the industrialized prosperity of Hong Kong. Most scholars regard the industrialized prosperity in the 1960s as a direct consequence of the U.S Embargo Policy launched in the 1950s, during the Korean War. However, a no less important driving force, the impacts of the dynamic role of local businessmen and local chambers on the growth of industries has been overlooked. Given the current academic neglect of the local dynamic role, this paper aims to analyze the driving force played by local actors such as associations, chambers of commerce, and even merchants in promoting Hong Kong’s industrial growth, especially in the shipping industries. This paper will demonstrate the effect of embargo policy as well as the contribution of local dynamics, which altogether provides a comprehensive understanding of the factors affecting Hong Kong’s industrial growth in the 1950s.

The COVID-19 pandemic has shocked the financial market since 2020. The lock-down and social distancing measures have brought challenges to the film industry. This study analyzes stock prices and examines the impact of the pandemic on film industry through CAPM. Five big film companies are selected as a typical sample to investigate the performance of film industry. Data including daily returns and close prices of each stock is extracted from Yahoo Finance. In addition, linear regression is used in this study to calculate the stock’s beta, alpha and R-square based on CAPM. According to the analysis, the pandemic outbreak has increased the unavoidable risks of the film industry brought from the market. Stocks of five film companies performed worse than expected, which indicated that the pandemic did put a bad effect on the film industry. Besides, the performance of five film companies is relative with the market but with higher fluctuation, indicating that there are more uncertainties in film industry compared to the market. These results shed light on guiding further exploration of film industry’s emergency responses towards events like pandemic.

This paper seeks to examine the relationship between price discrimination and market competition before and after the outbreak of Covid-19 in the US busiest flight route, from Los Angeles airport, LAX to New York airport, JFK as a representation of the U.S. airline market. Scholars hitherto have long been focused on the effect of market concentration on price dispersion. There are two main conflicting theories that determine the relationship, the monopoly effect, and the branding effect. We analyze the air lane from Los Angeles to New York in two time periods, one from 2018 to 2020, and the other from 2020 to 2022 to see if Covid-19 changes the dominance of one effect over the other. The results of our study show that market competition has a positive effect on price discrimination during the pre-Covid period while revealing a negative effect on price discrimination after the outbreak. We conclude from the results that the branding effect dominates the LAX-JFK market before Covid-19, which means that higher competition increases the capability of a firm to charge different prices for different segments of customers whereas the monopoly effect overturns after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Behavioral economics blends psychology and economics to determine how psychological triggers or nudges influence people's decision-making. The decoy effect has been a particular focus of study in the behavioral economics literature. The decoy effect is seen as an effective "Nudge" and is widely used by businesses. For example, magazine subscriptions, vacation destination choices, and sales of various products—where there is a choice, there is an arena for nudges. The marketplace is flooded with nudges to influence consumer choice; in everyday consumption, many businesses use the decoy effect to maximize sales of specific products or options to increase revenue. Based on a review of the relevant literature and practical case applications of the decoy effect, this study summarizes articles with similar conclusions which can support each other while also mentioning different views regarding the limitations and disagreements of the decoy effect in behavioral economics. However, in general, the effects carried by decoys are apparent and have been confirmed by a large amount of literature.

McDonald's is a company that was established in 1940 in the United States. Since then, the company has grown in different parts of the world and increased its profitability over time. However, McDonald's has also faced a lot of challenges, including the lack of understanding of cultures in different countries, which resulted in its poor performance. Without completely understanding what the local people think about food, McDonald's expanded its operations to different parts of the world while carrying the culture of the United States to those parts. As a result, the company performed poorly and was unable to expand its operations further. However, through localization strategies, McDonald's has gradually become one of the world's most successful restaurants and food chains. This paper introduces McDonald's localization strategies from five aspects, namely its menu, business model, advertising translation, staff management, and market pricing. To conclude, the company has been able to adapt its menu to be in line with the local culture, and the prices are set according to the local economy. What is more, the localized translation and management also enable the company to avoid and timely solve the problems that are specific to a region. The localization strategies have made McDonald's one of the world’s most successful fast food companies.
This paper examines the US-CN Audit Agreement’s influences on investors’ reactions towards US-listed Chinese companies and the potential spillover effect on US domestic listed companies with the same auditors that Chinese companies have. The sample consists of 282 Chinese US-listed companies and 3986 U.S. companies with the same auditors as those Chinese companies. We then compare the average stock return of U.S.-listed Chinese companies and the U.S. companies based on the sample period for the stock return data begins from July 27, 2022, to Aug 29, 2022. By using T-test separately, we found that U.S. companies have higher average stock returns in the previous 21-days period, and in the 3-day announcement window, the difference in stock returns between U.S.-listed Chinese companies and U.S. companies is not material. Therefore, we document that although investors become so alarmed by the publication of the US-China Audit Agreement that stock returns suffer. As a result, the success of US-China audit cooperation will increase investor confidence and help Chinese companies' stock returns and mitigate the negative effects.

This article explores U.S. investors' investment decisions in the oil industry in response to three major events during the COVID-19 pandemic, which are the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, the successful achievement of the Pfizer vaccine, and the end of the COVID-19 epidemic. The data, ranging from January 2019 to November 2022, is processed with Fama-French 5-factor model and the fitting results of the 5-factor model of these four periods of time are derived by multiple linear regression. The significance of each factor of the model will change due to different choices of investors, especially SMB, RMW and CMA. In different periods of the epidemic, investors will not pay attention to the market value, ROE and total asset growth rate of oil companies because of events that are not conducive to the oil industry, such as the US interest rate hike and the Russia-Ukraine war. In addition, investors will also refocus on these indicators when they hear news that is positive for the stock market, such as the successful development of Pfizer's vaccine or a cut in U.S. interest rates. By conducting comparisons and analyses, this article highlights the fluctuations in the stock market within the oil industry. The insights gained from this analysis can prove beneficial for both investors and government officials when formulating policies and making informed decisions.

Using the data collected from csmar (China Stock Market and Accounting Research Database), this paper compares the turnover rate and stock gains on the first day of the STAR (Science and Technology Innovation Board) market and the A-share market to figure out who are the major buyers, and at the same time, analyzes whether the investments in the STAR market is reasonable under this policy. To conclude, canceling the policy of 44% limitation of stock gains is effective. It is able to diminish the monopoly of the investment bank. Besides, retail investors are allowed to have more chances to buy the stock on the first day, which means the investment circumstance becomes more balanced.

Micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) have been an important part of our country's economy for many years. However, their survival and development are always affected by the phenomenon of financing constraints, which has resulted in non-negligible consequences for the development of the national economy. This paper utilizes with a large amount of data and information, and uses the method of induction and deduction to summarize the reasons for the financing constraint phenomenon from three levels, and puts forward corresponding solutions for different levels. The causes of financing constraints are divided into three levels. First, at the micro level, MSMEs cannot meet the expectations of investors and the requirements of mortgage loans. Secondly, at the industry level, due to the relative backwardness of the capital market. Finally, at the national level, local governments have not fundamentally solved the problems of financing difficulty and slow financing for MSMEs. In order to solve the above problems, this paper puts forward three different solutions. At the enterprise level, the enterprise should actively use digital technology to improve its own operating capability and operational compliance; Small and medium-sized banks should use new media and other technologies to strengthen ties with customers and improve service quality and data processing capabilities. At the industry level, big banks should help the small and medium-sized banks to accelerate the digital transformation. At the national level, local governments should provide policies including but not limited to financial support for the digital transformation of MSMEs.
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) Volatility Index (VIX) is a measurement of volatility in the stock market, which is closely associated with the return of the risk premium. This paper categorized the monthly log returns of VIX by Gaussian Mixture Models (GMM) and investigates the driving factors of VIX among the Equity Market Volatility (EMV) trackers under different regimes using the elastic net linear regression model. As a result of categorization, two regimes in log returns of VIX are found. Regime 1 with a lower mean covers most of the months, while regime 2 with a higher mean captures the months of extreme log returns. In months of both regimes, the policy-related factor significantly and independently affects VIX. Another factor that largely affects VIX in regime 1 is the macroeconomy and other factors have little impact on VIX in regime 1. Infectious disease, policy, and government related factors are more important in affecting VIX in regime 2.

Demonstrating how companies should better seize the benefit and avoid the negative impact brought by this new economy in such an era.
In recent years, the international situation has been unpredictable, changes in the economic environment have profoundly affected people's psychological expectations, and the securities market has experienced different volatility, which brings challenges to the validity of the Fama-French three-factor model. Based on this model, this paper selects 20 stocks in the Chinese A-share market, divides them into six portfolios according to their size and book-to-market ratio, conducts a regression analysis of monthly returns from August 2017 to July 2022, and then verifies the explanatory power of the market factor, size factor, and book-to-market ratio factor on the excess returns of the stocks. The results demonstrated that the three factors can partially account for the variation in returns, with SMB having a more significant impact on small-cap companies and HML on firms with a high book-to-market ratio.
This study aims to empirically study house prices and their relationship with China's critical economic and financial metrics. The key metrics include interest rate, inflation rate, and stock index prices. This study shows that stock index prices do not significantly impact house prices in China. At the same time, long-term interest and inflation rates positively impact house prices in China.Additionally, short-term interest rate possesses a negative im-pact on house prices. This can shed light on policymakers in China when making economic decisions to influence house prices in China. On top of this, this study also compared house prices and real estate stock index prices and concluded that the two differ significantly.
Responses to COVID-19 have speeded the adoption of digital technologies by several years, resulting in flourishing Note-taking software markets. This paper studies the competition between the two most popular note-taking apps with horizontal differentiations for tablet users: Notability and GoodNotes 5. A modified Hotelling model is used where firms' persuasive advertisements will affect consumers' preferences, hence implicitly changing their location and their overall travel costs. A two-stage process is considered during firm competition when building up models. In the first stage, firms decide on the levels of advertisement of their products in the first stage, then set different prices to maximize profits. By solving this modified model and analyzing the equilibrium profits, the result shows that advertising leads to the same price tactics for the two firms. However, due to the existence of advertising strategies, firms have to bear the cost of this extra advertising competition. Therefore, both firms in the end will receive lower levels of profits compared to the standard model. Indicating that persuasive advertisement has caused Pareto inefficiency, leading to deadweight loss and reduced profit gains for the two firms.
Digital currency is one of the vital innovative products of Fintech and it has influenced the whole financial industry and supervision field. It first came with personal digital currency, and it changed the forms, circulation, and payment methods of traditional currencies, and different currencies have their own intrinsic value. In the meantime, the central banks of various countries have also tried to control digital currency. Central banks reduce the cost of issuing currency and improve the efficiency of payment. Moreover, the regulatory authorities of various countries have improved the rules when facing the security problems of digital currency. The paper, through methods of qualitative research and literature review, focuses on three parts, which include the difference between private digital currency and central bank digital currency; the difference between each private digital currency; and the difference between central bank digital currencies in various countries. It hopes to provide some insights for further development in this field.
This research paper investigates the difference between Chinese listed companies in the US and US companies regarding the quality of accounting information from companies’ annual reports. After a careful review of literature, researchers decided to apply classic M-score model for information processing and one sample t-test to determine the relationship between accounting quality and the country of the company. There are two hypotheses, and the first one is that the difference between the mean M-score of U.S. listed Chinese companies and the mean M-score of U.S. companies is not significant. The second one is the difference between the mean M-score of U.S. listed Chinese companies, and the mean M-score of U.S. companies is significant. This research result turned out to support the first hypothesis, indicating that the difference between the accounting qualities of the two types of companies is not significant.
With the internet and technology development, the utilization rate of short video platforms has gradually increased, and online shopping has become very common. On September 20, 2016, Tiktok short video platform was launched. A TikTok mall is a delivery tool provided by Tiktok e-commerce for merchants. The platform reduces the threshold for merchants to meet the requirements and implements a comprehensive opening policy to obtain more user traffic. Inevitably, lowering the threshold brings the disadvantage of merchants selling fake and inferior products, leading to the lemon for the market and significantly impacting the platform atmosphere and user traffic. Based on the idea of mixed strategy and a journal about the online game theory of product quality, this paper adds more variables, taking into account the negative impact of Tiktok's actual scheme policy and lemon market. Constructing a game theory model including merchants and Tiktok regulatory department, analyze its nash equilibrium and derivative of each variable. Finally, find out that the lemon market exists on the Tiktok platform. Second, the higher cost of high-quality firms leads to strengthening supervision to prevent the low-quality firms from being driven out of the market. Third, the lower profit of low-quality goods, the merchants prefer to sell high-quality goods. The strategies selected by the regulatory authorities on the Tiktok platform and the strategies of the merchants are influenced by the production costs of different quality, the regulatory costs, and the rewards obtained from the efforts made by the regulatory authorities in sampling inspection. These factors will also influence their profits. This paper will prove the conclusion with accurate data.

In terms of the state of Europe, Michael E. O’Hanlon believes that even if the war in Ukraine ends soon, the events so far have changed the security environment in Europe. The tripwire strategy NATO has used in the Baltic states and Poland since about 2017 must now be replaced by a permanent forward defense posture of modest size and scope. Starting with two external factors, aid and sanctions, this paper uses a comparative political science approach to construct a military and economic model of the Russo-Ukrainian war by September 2022. This paper finds that Ukraine is constrained by its strength and weapons in the face of advanced operational command concepts and cannot effectively stop Russia. This ideological difference has led to a failure to achieve a balanced model of war, while at the same time, we note that all sides are also managing the risk of war escalation. The lack of planning for economic sanctions against Russia and the vacillating attitudes of the West, including the US, make the course of the war and subsequent reconstruction far from certain.
