Portfolio Analysis of Various Financial Assets

Utilizing Monte Carlo Simulation and annualized data, this paper investigates portfolio establishment with currency, comparing the performance of the portfolio with the performance of equity. Specially, we choose S&P 500 to represent equity, while choosing Gold futures, Bitcoin, and CHF to represent different types of currency. Firstly we use Python to help us do the initial simulation of one million portfolios, analyzing the result of the simulation based on sharp ratio with Excel. We find that there are some regular patterns in the asset allocation of the portfolio and explain the appearance of the strange angle in our simulation. Then to increase the market shares of currency, we advocate adding an extra yield to the currency's annualized return and doing another two simulations on the four assets with a new annual rate of return. We then compare the results of new simulations with the performance of the initial simulation and S&P 500, finding that with extra yield it will be more easier for the portfolio including currency and equity to perform better than initial portfolios. We also find that the regular pattern of asset allocation which is discovered from the initial simulation is inapplicable in new simulations.

Secondly, the park increased ticket sales through various distribution channels and can further improve by refining its ticket refund and exchange policy. Lastly, Shanghai Disneyland enhanced its promotion through various social media channels and can apply this to disseminate everyday knowledge and prevent the risk of pandemic recurrence. This study's analysis of Shanghai Disneyland's swift recovery can provide suggestions and references for the recovery and development of theme parks facing similar pandemic issues in the future, helping to minimize losses.

A Study of Bayesian Quantile Regression for Forecasting RMB Exchange Rates

Accurate forecasting of the RMB exchange rate is crucial for global financial market participants. This study proposes a Bayesian quantile regression approach to enhance the forecasting method. This paper uses RMB and US dollar exchange rate data from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange from 2018 to 2022 to build a Bayesian quantile regression model and empirically analyze the RMB exchange rate forecast. The results show that the proposed Bayesian quantile regression model yields accurate forecasts, with a root mean squared error (RMSE) of 1.8329 and a mean absolute error (MAE) of 1.2988. Furthermore, robustness and sensitivity analyses confirm the model's reliability. The findings of this study have practical implications for financial market participants and policymakers in managing and responding to foreign exchange risk.

Results using financial statement data of A-share listed companies and FDI level data of the cities where the companies are located from 2011 to 2020 show that FDI has a significant promotion effect on the enhancement of new quality productivity of enterprises. Further analysis reveals that the positive effect is generated through the channels of improving enterprise innovation ability and easing enterprise financing constraints, predominantly observed in non-state-owned enterprises. The test for moderating effect shows that a high degree of capital market openness has a significant positive effect on the formation of new quality productivity of enterprises influenced by FDI. The results of this paper provide a theoretical perspective of FDI for further research on the new quality productivity of enterprises.
