The Relationship Between Social Media Data and Stock Market Volatility

In recent years, the influence of social media data on the stock market has been deeply concerned and studied by academics and professionals, because the information reflected in these data has become increasingly important in contemporary society. By offering a complete synthesis of current research, evaluating the contributions made by earlier studies, and highlighting knowledge gaps warranting additional inquiry, this literature review seeks to examine the complicated link between social media data and stock market volatility. In order to accomplish this, the paper delves into a wide range of topics, such as where to get social media data, how to gauge stock market volatility, and what kinds of approaches have been taken to examine the possible connections between the two. Some research suggests that social media sentiment may forecast market patterns, while other research suggests a lower effect, as shown by our study, which concludes that there is either no relationship or a positive one between these factors. More study should focus on perfecting sentiment analysis methods, delving into nonlinear correlations, exploring variations in social media platforms, and addressing ethical problems in data utilization. We hope that these efforts will help us better comprehend the relationship between social media data and stock market volatility, allowing us to create more precise forecasting instruments.

Research on the Digital Transformation Development Strate-gy of Commercial Banks under the Background of Financial Technology

At present, implementing digital transformation has become the most common strategic choice of commercial banks, so it is important to study the digital transformation of com-mercial banks. The literature on Fintech and the digital revolution of conventional com-mercial banks is reviewed in this paper. This paper reviews the theoretical and empirical literature, focusing on three main issues: the influence of financial technology on commer-cial banks, the research on digital transformation of commercial banks, and the factors af-fecting the digital transformation effect of commercial banks. The vast majority of schol-ars believe that the use of financial technology can bring customers a more personalized service experience, reduce costs and increase profit levels, but it also means that the com-petitive environment for commercial banks will be more intense. According to the current development of science and technology, commercial banks must put digital transformation into practice in order to achieve sustainable development, and financial technology plays an indispensable role in the digital transformation of the banking industry. With the con-tinuous advancement of digital transformation practice, many factors affect the implemen-tation of digital transformation, including external factors such as government support, and internal factors such as the development of science and technology, digital transformation strategy formulation, and managers' awareness. This paper summarizes what people know about these issues and the questions for future research. People should look for more possi-ble factors that will affect the digital transformation of commercial banks, and study the security issues that may arise from the benefits that digitalization brings to commercial banks.

The Role, Challenges, and Countermeasures of NGO Participation in the Third Distribution

In the context of accelerated social transformation in China, the consensus on solving social problems through the participation of NGOs in the third distribution has become increasingly clear. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the challenges faced by NGOs when participating in the third allocation from a practical perspective, and summarize a set of practical ideas and countermeasures. This has important practical significance for further solving the issue of social equality and alleviating the gap between rich and poor. Based on the existing 12 papers on NGO and third distribution, this paper analyzes the theoretical role of NGO participation in third distribution, which can be divided into two elements: alleviating the shortage of public goods and low cost and high efficiency. From a practical perspective, examine the current situation of NGOs in the third distribution from the perspective of the "two major factors" mentioned above. It is found that there are still three major problems: the inefficiency caused by "voluntary failure", the imperfection of the charitable tax system, and the constraints of the dual management system. How to solve the above-mentioned "three major issues" has become the key to the efficient participation of NGOs in the third distribution.

Analysis of Temporary Works’ Interest Protection by Negotiation

According to some experts, temporary workers are becoming less willing to speak out when they have made a loss as previously they were. Nonetheless, when their benefits are being infringed, temporary workers will bargain with the employer to safeguard their own interests. However, there is no unified explanation for the reasons behind the formation and solutions. Therefore, this paper collects data on temporary workers employed by some companies and analyzes the correlation between the data and the case of "temporary workers employed by Meituan Takeaway" to investigate the topic of how temporary workers should negotiate with companies to protect their own interests. The study found that there are two reasons why temporary workers are not valued by the company, including the low skill level of temporary workers and the high risk of quitting; the company hires temporary workers not only because it can save human resources costs, but also shows higher motivation for temporary workers. The company should insist on "equal pay for equal work", which is beneficial to the development of the company and establish a good corporate image. In view of the above findings, this paper proposes that the company should actively cooperate with the negotiation process and the temporary workers should use such negotiation skills to communicate with the company.

Analyzing the Debt’s Effects on Netflix’s Liquidity and Costs

Netflix has issued substantial sums of debt in 2018 and 2019 in order to expand its content library and deal with the intense rivalry that exists in the streaming media sector. The objective of this paper was to investigate the ways in which Netflix's liquidity and costs of financing are impacted by the use of long-term debt financing. The annual reports that Netflix produced from 2017 through 2022 were scrutinized in great detail. According to the findings of this research, Netflix did not experience any liquidity issues in 2018 and 2019 as a result of its long-term debt financing. Therefore, organizations that provide streaming media may utilize long-term debt financing in order to make short-term investments if they managed the due dates of their loan in an appropriate manner. Meanwhile, based on the findings of this study, Netflix was able to reduce the costs associated with debt by issuing debt mostly in euros and using fixed interest rates. When interest rates are forecasted to rise, it may be beneficial for businesses to cut their debt costs by taking on debt denominated primarily in euros and offering fixed interest rates.

Analysis of the Game Behavior of Real Estate Mortgage Securities Issuers Based on Reciprocal Preferences

In recent years, the Chinese government has gradually begun to pay attention to the development of real estate investment trusts (REITs) and hopes to use REITs to increase the securitization of assets in the real estate market, making it possible to accelerate the circulation of funds in the real estate market. In order to enable issuers to price REITs effectively to form a mutually beneficial transaction model with investors, to increase the willingness and success rate of both parties and to ultimately create a harmonious and efficient REITs market, it is important to study the pricing decisions of issuers when issuing REITs. This study analyzes and investigates the issue of pricing decisions of REITs based on reciprocal preferences and evolutionary game theory. It is found that when the proportion of REITs issuers choosing to construct a reciprocal initial pricing decision is greater than the equilibrium probability of REITs issuers choosing a reciprocal pricing strategy, and when the initial proportion of investors choosing a reciprocal investment decision is greater than the equilibrium probability of investors choosing a reciprocal investment strategy, the overall REITs transaction market tends to be a reciprocal and harmonious transaction market at this time, the overall happiness of the REITs trading market is the highest, and the success rate of trading increases and the capital circulation of the real estate market is accelerated. Therefore, it is recommended that issuers choose reciprocal competitive decisions when pricing REITs in order to increase the success rate of their own REIT holdings; and it is recommended that the government, when regulating the pricing of REITs, pays attention to the psychological factors of reciprocal preferences of issuers and investors and that the government penalizes REIT issuers and investors when they choose self-serving decisions and rewards them when they choose reciprocal decisions.

On 23rd March 2023, the Federal Reserve has once again increased its federal funds rate. The policy is published aim for reduce the high inflation rate in the US and prevent once again getting into a recession just like in 2008. This brings both advantages and disadvantages to both the domestic and foreign economies. In this paper, some basic impacts are explained including effects on consumption and investment decisions, stocks and bonds markets, and international relations. As the rise in interest rate increases cost of borrowing and discourages speculation, generally, economic activities are reduced. At the same time, this gives foreign countries heavy pressure by creating outflows of investment funds. Looking forward to the future, it is still possible for the Fed to keep raising its interest rate. To prevent further damages, foreign countries may use expansionary fiscal policy as it can stimulate consumption and investment, and most importantly, bring possibilities of improved economy potential.
